Ashford Child Enrichment Center
Many young families do not know where to find a safe and supportive environment for their children. Ashford’s Child Enrichment Center provides an environment of learning and growth where connection and friendships happen. We have a program where parents can get the support they need.
Enrolling ages 12 months to 5 years.

A break for parents. A fun place for kids. VBS is a week of music, games, and learning about Jesus’ love in a safe and supportive environment.

Play games and mentor a young person. Be available to someone who might need guidance, encouragement, and care. Show up. Play a game.

Serve the community with fresh fruits and vegetables. We need volunteers for the West Houston Assistance Ministry (WHAM) garden here on campus. Plant a seed. See the growth. Feed a family.

The Stephen Ministry offers training on how to care for others, be a listening ear, and provide compassionate support. The Stephen Ministry also provides ministers who can be there for you, whether in prayer or other forms of spiritual support.
Reach out to our Stephen Ministry program to either receive training or find a Stephen minister.

Ashford UMC need your talents! For those who may want to engage through volunteering or community activities we have something for everyone.
Saturdays at Ashford are a blast during our FFPS Soccer Fall and Spring seasons. Come help engage our youth through activities such as serving snow cones.
Summers are filled with fun and faith as we lead our youth in Vacation Bible Study. Come and volunteer your time in many capacities to include food prep, leading crafts or teaching.
Join our service Media Team! The service is built on volunteers who help with things like slide flow, sounds, and so on. No experience necessary.
Become a Mentor and make a huge difference in a child's life. Contact the church or sign up after service on our sign up sheet.
Our Sunday services are always in need of Ushers, Greeters and Acolytes. Donate your time to serve during our Sunday services.
Our Choir is filled with beautiful voices and they are always welcoming new ones. We even have a handbell choir! Join our adult or youth choir.
