Pastor David was away this Sunday on vacation. Cindy Serio read Psalm 31:1-15. Cindy has a lovely voice and her Psalm readings are always wonderfully expressive. If you didn't get to hear it at the 8:30 a.m. service, we hope you got to hear it at 11:00 a.m.: 1 In you, O LORD, I have taken refuge; 2 Turn your ear to me, 3 Since you are my rock and my fortress, 4 Free me from the trap that is set for me, 5 Into your hands I commit my spirit; 6 I hate those who cling to worthless idols; 7 I will be glad and rejoice in your love, 8 You have not handed me over to the enemy 9 Be merciful to me, O LORD, for I am in distress; 10 My life is consumed by anguish 11 Because of all my enemies, 12 I am forgotten by them as though I were dead; 13 For I hear the slander of many; 14 But I trust in you, O LORD; 15 My times are in your hands;
