Room 203 (Choir +) 9:45-10:30 Sharon Elliott & Marcia Wiseman No, we aren’t giving dance lessons but we are learning a few new steps as we study “PSALMS FOR SUMMER!” Won’t you join as we “dance” our way from June 13 through August 29 with new partners and old friends … HANDS-ON MISSION ... We are a community-minded bunch of folks and feel the need to give back. Almost 2 years ago members of FaithLink first went to Christ the Servant Lutheran Church (located on Wilcrest between Briarforest and Westheimer) to help with making sandwiches that are taken to the Homeless. This mission endeavor has been picked up by our Church Mission Team and we invite anyone in the church and community to join our community of faith in this mission opportunity right in our own backyard! Sandwiches are made on the 1st and 3rd Monday beginning around 3:30 and ending around 6:00 pm. You are welcome to drop in and out ... Some of the volunteers have the opportunity to deliver those sandwiches ... Click here for a testimony of that experience. |
