Body Recall 

Ashford UMC offers a physical fitness program for adults three times each year.

Body Recall successfully enhances joint flexibility and muscle tone through a series of slow movements. It is a comfortable approach to exercise that participants can enjoy and be challenged to do more with what they have.

This nationally acclaimed exercise program was developed by Dorothy Chrisman of the Continuing Education Department of Berea College, Berea, Kentucky. It is designed to reclaim the variety of movement and the strength that help make living pleasurable.

Now in its eleventh year at Ashford UMC, the program encourages physical activity and offers incentives for movement that contribute to enhanced daily living. Participants reflect more useful bodies and find companionship and joy within a group that has a similar desire in staying "alive."

Certified Instructor Jackie Spradley leads the classes.
